Swing for the veins - Fibo Collegium!

Apart from concerts, The Finnish Baroque Orchestra organizes specially tailored memorable early music projects and concerts to schools and conservatories of music, kindergartens and comprehensive schools by its training operation, Fibo Collegium. Fibo Collegium also regularly offers supplementary training courses for professional musicians.

What makes the Fibo Collegium method special is that the conservatory and music school teachers are involved in the training projects together with their students and the Fibo Collegium musicians. The same idea of learning by doing it yourself  is used even in the concerts for kindergartens and comprehensive schools.

Baroque music is a vital element of all music education. The Finnish Baroque Orchestra wants to support the work of music schools and comprehensive schools,  and it wants to offer both the teachers and students a chance for a deeper understanding and expression of baroque music.
